April Fools

I had the most F-ed up day... Im not surprised its April Fools.
Ok, to be truthful, everything could have gone way, way worse.
But it's always fun to complain, right?

It all started when I woke up at approximately 8:10 this morning for an 8 AM class
Not only was it a simple lecture, oh no, it was a mandatory lab day, which means if we don't go we.... well do be honest I can't remember what happens if you don't attend... you fail?
Nevertheless, I was freaking out this morning and sprinting to class is not the best way to start out your day...

To continue on with my day...
I had such a list of things to do, I decided the best way to accomplish them all was to get as high as I could on caffeine
At the time it sounded like a great idea, but in reality, caffeine is never the answer
Instead of accomplishing anything really, all I ended up doing was getting all OCD, cleaned my dorm room meticulously and then crashed on my bed for a 20 minute power nap... oh yeah and woke up with a hell of a stomach ache.... lovely.


I just found this on BuzzFeed.. and it made me happy!

I really did not intend for this post to be me complaining, I apologize.

Lets see.... what else can I talk about?

Have you ever watched Jimmy Hendrix play the guitar?

I have a poster of him on my bathroom door

Did you know he was left handed, but instead of playing a lefty guitar he took one built for right handed people and played it upside down

I'm not lying to you right now!

He played the guitar upside down so he could strum with his left hand.

Doesn't that make you believe that anything is possible?

Or at least that he was one talented MoFo.

But still, it is so inspiring.

I love little things like this.

Little things sprinkled throughout your day or spots within your life that make you take a step back and just say "wow"

Today wasn't the worst day ever

It was actually relatively good

I got to spend time with friends, I got a surprise text from a friend I haven't seen or heard from in so long, I had delicious coffee, I only had one class, the late morning was sunny and warm, it was a pretty good day.

Oh, and I wore my super cool Uh Huh Her shirt, that always makes a day better
